Health Insaaf Card Information
The people of Punjab have greatly benefited from the introduction of the Sahat Insaaf card, which allows them to receive free medical treatment without having to pay any money. This initiative was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan on December 13, 2023, after the success of the Ehsaas Rahan program.
During a conversation about his mother, Imran Khan shared his concern about the lack of cancer treatment options in Pakistan. He experienced this firsthand when his mother was diagnosed with cancer, which eventually led to her passing away. He empathized with the struggles faced by those who are unable to access medical treatment due to a lack of facilities and decided to introduce health cards to help them.
In honor of his mother, Imran Khan founded the Shaukat Khanum Hospital, which provides free cancer treatment to those in need. This inspired him to allocate 440 billion rupees towards healthcare, and on March 22, 2022, he announced that every citizen of Punjab would be given an Insaf Health Card during a visit to Lahore. This initiative has brought hope to those who previously could not afford medical treatment and has greatly improved the quality of life for the people of Punjab.
How to get Sehat Insaf Card?
To register for the Ehsaas Health program, send your ID card number to 8500 via SMS. You can also visit the Ehsaas Health website to complete the registration process.
Once you have registered, you may be eligible to receive an Insaaf Sehat card. To check your eligibility, contact your local NADRA office or visit the district health center’s distribution center.
