The Local Government Department is currently crafting master plans for 11 districts. Including Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Okara, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. The overarching goal of these master plans is to provide a blueprint for the sustainable development of these districts over the next 20 years.
The authorities have developed Land Use Classification Maps for these districts to commence the process. Afterward, they shared these maps with the relevant Deputy Commissioners. The subsequent step entails seeking approval and notification from the concerned officials.
