Pakistan Receives First LPG Shipment from Russia Details:
The first shipment from Russia is received by Pakistan of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This will help to increase the relationship between the two nations and partnership in different fields. The Russian embassy has announced confirmation in Islamabad that they have achieved the goals for what they are looking for.
In this shipment, there is a 100,000 metric tonnes of LPG, the shipment was transported from Iran’s Sarakhs special economic zone. This is the first shipment that Pakistan has gotten and after this, there is also a chance of another shipment in the future. In this shipment, Iran is involved but Iran’s involvement has not been disclosed.
As we already know about the different dealings of petroleum products with Russia. Last time we had a deal on Russian crude oil and they made the transaction using Chinese currency, The exact amount of the transaction is not revealed yet. Pakistan is involved in using energy products much more than others and our major source of import is also energy products.
