On Saturday, the price of gold in Pakistan experienced another decline, continuing the downward trend after a significant increase in value was observed just a day earlier.
The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) released data showing a drop in the price of 24-carat gold. The price per tola decreased by Rs. 1,600, reaching Rs. 231,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams went down by Rs. 1,371, closing at Rs. 198,388.
The price of gold has been steadily rising for several weeks. However, in the past week, there was a significant decrease in price. On Monday, the price dropped by Rs. 1,700 per tola, followed by another decrease of the same amount on Tuesday. The price then increased by Rs. 1,600 on Wednesday but dropped by Rs. 5,400 per tola on Thursday. Finally, on Friday, the price went up by Rs. 4,000 per tola.
Gold experienced a decline on Saturday, causing a decrease of Rs. 4,800 per tola in its price for the outgoing week. In the previous week, there was an increase of Rs. 900 per tola in the cost of gold.
