Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program Registration
The Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program Registration 2023 is an initiative launched by the government of Pakistan to provide financial assistance to deserving, poor families in the country. The program aims to provide Rs. 14000 in cash payments to eligible families, with a total of Rs. 25,000 being provided to 1 crore 2 lac families. The registration process for the program can be completed online through the 8171 Ehsaas program eligibility criteria.
Once approved, applicants can receive the cash amount and check their status online. The second phase of the program started with cash distributions being made in regular installments from April to June 2023. The payments can be collected from designated HBL branches, the HBL Konnect Ehsaas program, or designated campsites. The program is also offering Rs. 2000 cash subsidy on petrol through the Ehsaas program 786 online registration. The World Bank considers the Ehsaas Emergency Cash program to be the world’s fastest Cash Aid Program and one of the four best programs globally.

Eligibility Conditions
Keep in mind the following key features to be eligible for the Ehsaas Cash program:
- The program is not open to Federal and Provincial Government employees.
- The program is applicable in four provinces of Pakistan, including Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
- The Ehsaas Kafalat program will provide Rs.14,000 to women registered in it for a period of four months.
- The government determines the amount for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash program based on population, rather than NFC criteria.
- Provinces are also responsible for providing cash according to their respective Provincial Budgets.
- Punjab has allocated 700,000 payments, while Sindh has allocated 250,000 payments for deserving individuals.
Application Procedure
The Ehsaas Cash Program has initiated an SMS service to assist impoverished and deserving families.
- Step 1: To apply, send your CNIC number to 8171 or visit the 8171 Pass Gov Pk Web Portal.
- Step 2: If your CNIC is valid for the Ehsaas Cash Program online registration, you will proceed to the next step. If not, you will receive a message stating that your CNIC number is not eligible for the program.
- Step 3: The system will notify the applicant via SMS if they are rejected due to incorrect profiling; otherwise, the applicant will proceed to the next step.
- Step 4: If you or your spouse is a government employee, you are not eligible for the Ehsas Emergency Cash Program and will be notified via SMS; otherwise, you will move on to the next step.
- Step 5: If your CNIC number is in the NSER Database and eligible for the Ehsaas Cash Program online registration, you will receive an SMS notifying you of the same and how to receive the cash grant.
- Step 7: If your CNIC is not in the NSER Database, please contact your appropriate Ehsaas Registration Center to apply for the program. A list of centers is available in the link below.
To make your life easier, the government will confirm your claim. The first category consists of 4.5 million existing Ehsaas Kafalat beneficiaries, all women, who will receive an additional Rs. 1000 emergency relief (total=Rs.3000) for the next 4 months.
